He said his blood alcohol concentration went to above the legal limit. He used a single shot. Also, I thought alcohol was metabolized out at a certain rate.
180 pounds + 1 oz alcohol + 1 health liver (male) = 1 hour to metabolize (eliminate) I can believe that inhaled alcohol enters the blood stream quicker, I cannot believe that one shot could equal the same amount of alcohol as 4 or 5 drinks (a BAC is a BAC, why would time matter) or that inhaled alcohol would be metabolized out of the body differently than ETOH that used an oral route of administration. Any doctors around who can explain this? I like your Nietzsche reference. I don't think Nietzsche knew many soldiers with PTSD or anyone who was the victim of a sexual assault, or on-and-on |

I am not a doctor, I am a biologist, and I am struggling to understand, like you, how one shot = 4 or 5 drinks. Then again, this show is notorious for stretching the reality of certain trends in way to make people fear trends. And this is by no means saying this is at all safe, but the way he is putting it very... well, exaggerated.

I would be worried about the alcohol catching fire.
