Still am, but quit drinking it.
I just have the urge to feel fizzy drinks in my throat. Is it addiction at all? I don't think it's the caffeine, it's just the amazing feeling of the fiziness in my throat. Please share what you know about this. Thanks ![]() |

Hey, Resonance18! Welcome to Psych Central! I used to be a really big soft drink drinker, and I think I could even now pass taste tests about different brands and versions. But stomach ailments have forced me to cut back.
I have tried coke zero and didn't like it. I prefer Diet Coke and that's my cola of choice now. I have noticed it has a bigger head of fizz than other colas, and the same might be true of coke zero. I even like to dip my finger in the fizz and suck on it. So, I can understand what you are saying about the feeling. And I haven't found any other drinks that measure up! I haven't considered my problem as an addiction, since I can go days without any soda at all. I think that's the key to addiction. Cheers! ![]() |

I once kicked fizzy drinks... it was nearly as bad as the time I kicked H. I still roll around in bed at night sometimes, yearning for that fizziness to caress my throat in its sweet, warm embrace.
But yes, anything can be an addiction. |

I am addicted to goody's headache powders. I suffer from migraines and Goody's are the only thing to relieve the pain. Since starting goody's I take them compulsively. I cut down when it started causing gastro problems.
