How can I spend life however I want if my addiction tells me to read Internet forums?

You can choose to do something about your addiction or not. There is a choice there.

It is about focus. Yes, you would have to focus on something else to do something else and right now you only focus on the Internet and don't know anything else. Give the computer to someone to hold for you or go outside your home and stay away from home for 8 hours a day and "study" the world out there until you find something else to interest you that makes you feel more like you would like to feel or makes money or is more of a challenge and provides more interaction for you in a way you'd like.

Thanks -- the main problem is that I have too few resources. I have no friends. I do not like the subject I have PhD in.
