If sympathy labor pain exist..

Every month that my boyfriend goes into really bad opiate withdrawals, I start feeling the same way and it gets worse each month. Like he just got his fentanyl patches from his doctor today, so he should be going down on his withdrawals.
There's no reason that I should feel the way I do that mimics his symptoms. Like freezing to where it hurts but blankets are too much. The last week, that's been me. I want to tear off my skin. I can't stand feeling freezing with my body hurting and not being able to do/eat much. I love him very much so I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like?

people are hard wired for empathy. It seems like what you describe is the empathy going to an extreme.
Are you eating a good diet. If not you could be taking on other's pain.

Twins can experience these kinds of things. Are you emotional very linked to your boyfriend?
