I arrived at the sober house yesterday, finally! As excited as I was to get here, now I am disappointed. Based on what I observed last night, I am pretty certain that two of the girls who live here are actively using drugs. This is not what I had expected.
For now I am not doing anything about it other than praying and keeping a log of my observations. And I'm trying to be grateful to have a place to live. Still, I hope I can get back on my feet quickly. I really don't like being around people who use drugs.

Sometimes they can be sketchy. Other times people in recovery might seem kinda weird. Either way it should be an upgrade from the shelter. Just stay focused - we've got your back!

I am trying to be positive. It is hard with all the drama here. Turns out I am further along in my sobriety than the people here. They aren't healthy and I am tired of being around them. One girl, who is my age, actually recommended that I find a guy at NA to have sex with to make me feel better. Seriously?
And another one has been throwing temper tantrums for the past 2 days.
