I'm so pleased. I'm so proud. There's no going back now. I've been released from an evil that was doing me so much harm. Life is good.

I celebrated by watching my Sarah Brightman video collection. I was blubbering half the time because she is so very beautiful and her music just finishes me off.

Now I'm off to get a pedicure.'

And tonight, it's pizza for the kids!

Hubby surprised me with a fancy cheese (I looovve cheese) to say well done! I doubt he realized it was one month, but I told him anyway after he gave me the cheese and he said "I know"!!

I bought some salty crackers to go with the cheese and can't wait to tuck in! Oh and I got a red sparkling grape juice too!

Well done Sabrina. one day at a time. When you get a craving to drink, just tell yourself I won't drink today. And see how you feel tomorrow.

Well, it is heading up to 2 months now. And I must be honest and say that I don't get cravings AT ALL. Not one bit. I have no desire to drink whatsoever. I do think about being high / drunk from time to time. But don't desire the means to get there.

I feel so strongly about not drinking that I won't even have food cooked in alcohol. I was at a social gathering the other night and a guy kept pouring me shots. My husband took my first one, then said I didn't drink anymore when he tried and tried to coerce me to drink the others. When my husband declined as he was driving, the guy wanted me to drive. Well, I don't drive. He was aghast that I don't drink, much less don't drive. Later he asked me why I don't drink. I just said it was a personal decision. Guess I'm going to get lots of that.

Congratulations sweety...you are doing wonderful!

What's up with this person trying to get you to drink? If you were single I would understand, but in front of your husband? That's so odd.

I just tell everyone "I just don't want to", and if they persist, I excuse myself away from them.

Keep up the good job!
Thanks for this!
