I know this addiction may not be as bad as others, but It's like I can't stop spending money. Pushing myself deeper in debt. I tell myself I won't spend more, but i just keep doing it.

what is it your spending your money on?
I had the same problem in August through to October, I spent a fortune on hair products and make-up - but have nipped it in the bud now.

No matter how you label it, if it is pushing you deeper in debt you need to find a way to stop what is a destructive act.
Have you been able to take any steps to help? Congrats on recognizing this as being something you need to change! |

In my eyes, any addiction is as bad as the next. In your case, you could go bankrupt, lose your home ect. So it is serious. You should seek counseling and look up support groups in your area. I'm not one to always have money but when I do I'm careless with it. It goes hand in hand with BP and BPD I guess. I'll buy stupid stuff that sits in a closet for a year or something.
