If you can't stop drinking every day, you're probably at least psychologically if not also physically dependent. I'd seriously consider asking for help to stop, before it destroys your life. I let alcohol destroy my life, and I'm still trying to get back on track.

So people from AA acknowledge that you drink daily and are unable to stop, but agree with the MHC people that you are not suffering from alcoholism?

Try some meetings. Focus on the similarities in what you hear to your own life story.

How about making a direct request to a P-doc, such as, "Is there a medication I can take to help me stop?"
Here, we have Naltrexone and Campral (acamprosate). I'm not sure what's available where you are or if they are called the same thing?
BTW-You haven't told us how much or what you are drinking.

I drink vodka (40degrees) about 15-20 CL a day.
Maybe itsnt not too much but with my BMI it makes me nauseous, not walk straight and sleep already.and compromises my daily function. I usually start drinking at 9 am and stop at about 5pm. Sometimes i drink continuously slowly and sometimes more at once during this period of time. I just cant go home drunk. I prefer it being at work...
