You really should see me. I'm 97lbs but can drink anyone under the table. I stayed sober for a year but when I started back up recently, I've noticed it's still taking a lot to get a buzz. I've read that if you quit drinking after you were really bad that it could take a couple YEARS for tolerance to go back down? That's insane and a reminder of how bad I really screwed myself.
![]() ![]() The usual questions at dr's offices when filling out papers are "how many drinks do you consume on a weekly basis?" I lie everytime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When I fell of the wagon a few weeks ago, I drank whiskey like I always used to, took as many benzos as I did in the past & chewed a fentanyl patch. That's crazy **** considering I hadn't done anything in 9 months. I think once we get that crazy tolerance level (I always say I have the tolerance of a horse, lol) it stays that way for a long time. I remember them teaching us that in one of my many visits to DUI school. They also said that once you start blacking out, you will most of the time. Interesting bc they were right about the blacking out ****, in my case at least.
