Dang it - I should have posted yesterday. It was day 555. Oh well, 556 today!

Sorry to hear of your legal troubles DarkVapor, but glad to hear you are having success taking steps to remedy the situation. Nice job!

Still sober but lately been struggling with really strong cravings and urges to go off my Antabuse so I can drink. Not giving in, as it's so not worth it.

And not an addiction, but definite chemical dependence, I've decided to try to taper off my clonazepam this year. I'm having my first meeting with my pdoc about it on Tues. He's so far agreed to follow the Ashton protocol, although he doesn't know much about it.

I'm prescribed 1 mg PRN & seldom use them unless as a sleep aid.

I'm an old stick-in-the-mud, but all I've got is a daily reprieve from this disease. I feel I'm jinxed. Why look behind me, when looking forward seems to keep me from falling on my ***. I think it's great that people share their anniversaries. I just don't feel entitled, for some reason.

greentires, I'm on 3.5 mg daily, so it's going to take me about 6 months to taper down to 0.

See my addictions Dr. on Tues. and really want to be able to tell her that I'm still sober, so that's good motivation for me.

I hope it went well with your addictions doctor, splitimage. I read in another thread that you're having tenant problems. Kinda rough times, but hang in there.

Thanks emgreen. My appointment with my addictions Dr. went great. She was really happy that I'm still sober, despite some major challenges, including the tenant situation.

I also talked with her about my clonazepam taper and why I want to go off it. She supports it completely, and the taper schedule I'm proposing is basically the one she uses with her patients. And she says that if done carefully and very slowly people don't have bad withdrawal effects, it's just when you try to go to fast that you get problems and the horror stories. So that made me happy.

I smoked DMT but too scared to breakthrough then felt really depressed again last night. Then today I was snorting ketamine and I don't even know why. I thought it would help with depression but it doesn't.

I'm so depressed it's painful. I was crying last night but now I feel nothing.

I want to be sober.. This time I really have had enough.. but then I go back to painful life.. I'll try to be more spiritual and meditate without drugs i guess..

I think I finally understand why I have to find spirituality and be completely sober... but idk.. idk

I took MDMA last night, had a panic attack and took 3 benzos and went to sleep.

I've really had enough with drugs.

This will be day 1 sober..

Desoxyn, you can do it. I know it's hard, but it really is worth it.

Yeah, thanks for noticing UpDownAround. It's kind of fun noticing different number combos - gives smaller milestones to be happy about.

I'm feeling really good about being sober, this time around.
