Tell me I'm not alone. Please!!! I feel that connection is harder after a sex addiction. I'm hoping that those who have other addictions feel the same.

Ever since I started to remain clean, I feel less connected to other people. Today it seems like I'm doing a terrible job.

I feel so lonely, and fearful about my future. I have no boyfriend, or friends. I care, I think. This morning has been tough. Please tell me I'm not alone!

Dear puzzclar,

You are not alone. I also know loneliness and fear of what the future might bring. Wish I knew what to say that would help. I am very sorry you are suffering. That is heartbreaking!

Sincerely yours, -- Yao Wen
Thanks for this!

Thanks

The hard part is I've been distant on PC as well. And I don't have a lot of time. I wish I could have time to do other things besides school and work.

I've been a little depressed the last few days. Which isn't helping.

You are not alone .
We all exist in a crule universe that pays no attention to our feelings , and there is no shame in how we feel , we all are here for all kind of reasons , and helping each other sometimes is the only thing that makes things easier on us , all kinds of addictions are painfull , all kinds of lonliness are overwhelming , im going through a breakup lately and i know how you feel , and this global quarantine is not helping our cases at all .

I hope you find strength within you and overcome your fears and pass on to safty .

I am sorry you are struggling with this, truly, I am. I do not have that specific addiction, but I am in drug addiction recovery. I feel disconnected from pretty much the whole world due to this and mu bipolar disorder. It is very hard for me.
