I love my homegroup, but to say we're a little disorganized is an understatement of the millenium. We frequently have a problem with members forgetting when it's therir turn to chair, and line up a speaker even though everyone gets a meeting list showing when they're chairing in 3 month chunks. So tonight at our business meeting it was decided that we'd do reminder calls to the person chairing the week before the date they're scheduled for chairing. Guess who got volunteered? Me. As it's generally recognized that despite not having much sobriety, I am organized. It'll be good service for me, but I have a sneaking suspicion that people are going to start dreading seeing my phone number coming up on their call display. So now I'm my group's official chair reminder

Hi Split, it sounds like you're a good person for the job! I think people will appreciate you calling them. It is good you are doing things to help out your group--it make me feel good to help out others.
