I have had chronic back pain for many years. I’ve been through it all.
I found a Dr. who detoxed me off the hard stuff with Suboxone. I did it at home and it was a harrowing experience. I wound up staying on it for years now , in low doses , for pain management. It takes the edge off. I want to get off of it now , ( and then who knows what ) , but I want to do it in a medically controlled environment. Does anyone out there know of such a place where I can safely get off this stuff ? Suggestions , anything would be helpful. Thank you all and God help the addicted. __________________ Trying to Live in the Moment |

I think you would need to go to any normal type of rehab if you want to detox from it in a medical environment. My husband and I took subutex for a few years and got off it on our own at home during the worst part of the pandemic while we had the time to be at home. The withdrawal is just as bad as heavy opioid withdrawal. But it can be done safely at home, you just need to lower your doses to the point where you are micro-dosing it basically. I can tell you, you will feel amazing after a few weeks.
I am here to help if you need any advice on anything! |

You can undergo a detoxification program from medications after checking with a doctor. It is important to choose the optimal cleansing plan not to harm yourself. If you work hard, you can exhaust the body. In this case, it will take several more weeks to restore the balance of trace elements in the body.
