More bars in more buildings. Do you really think three bars on each block is enough? Ugghhhh. Get me outta this place.

Just keep walking right on past them.
Hang in there. It's tough I know. (((Chalm)))) |

Some day you will not even notice them...or, you will laugh at the drunken people who stumble out of them...hang in there....

Hey depressme, you know we have a little over 300 businesses back. More than half are bars, the other majority are construction. And the rest are restaurants, etc.
We need something like a mall-mart or target. Gotta travel so far to get to one. I'm already laughing at the drunks coming out the bar. But it scares me driving when i see them on the road.

Sadly in the small county I live in with a population less than 20,000, there's about 15 bars.
Sad huh One on every darn corner. And most of it is a fishing/shrimping/oystering town so.......lots of beer drinkers too! It gets easier everday. Shoot, I just want to be part owner - I know they were making a TON of money off me! LOL!

It can be hard early on to be tempted by the allure of the darkened rooms,,the laughter, the escape to isolation with our very best friend,,,the drink.
But it is,,in the end the act of surrender followed by willingness that keeps us looking for a better way. And you know well enough that it only takes one bar in a 100 miles to give us that one drink to begin again the spiral to hell. Gratitude helps too,,,think of the diabetic,,,who in any store of nearly any kind is faced with a door to his/her death. Lenny
