I picked up my "red chip" tonight. Apparently nicknamed the "danger chip" because a lot of people relapse about this time?

I've found it relatively easy to quit, which is weird.

Tonight I got the numbers of some of the temporary women sponsors and will try to get up the courage to call them sometime this week.

It was nice. People clapped for me and I got hugs and handshakes! It was nice to be a motivation for those picking up their "desire chips" tonight and for those on the path to remaining sober!

I am quite pleased with myself.

That's awesome. Congratulations. And don't you just love how everybody in AA hugs. It took me forever to get over my "don't touch me" hang-ups. Now I can hug with the best of them.

Good luck on calling and finding a sponsor, I think temporary sponsor's are a great thing, until you get to know enough people well enough to know who you really want to be your regular sponsor.

And I'm glad you found it easy to quit drinking. Wish I could say the same.

We had a guy pick up a desire chip tonight in my home group. He was crying, and it was his very first AA meeting. I really hope he'll be back.

Congratulations, Christina. I am rather new to PC, but have been in AA for some time. Don't be afraid to ask for a Sponsor, temporary or not. YOU will help THEM stay sober by asking for their direction and help.

Many Blessings Christina86!!!

Everyday sober gets better and better and easier and easier. And surrounding yourself with love and hugs is wonderful. Know that you have everything you need in life inside of you right now. Remind yourself of this every second. The Universe does not make mistakes, and you are part of the Universe. Know that you are perfect Right Now. And as for the "danger chip," this does not apply to you. You must guard your thoughts from anything low energy. Again, you are perfect and from the Universe. Look yourself in the mirror everyday and say, " I am perfect as I am. I love and respect myself."

There is no way to happiness...Happiness is the Way.
