Know what? (she says posting pathetically to herself)

On my way home tonight I was DYING FOR BOOZE!! (My dopey friend had left me alone at her house with an open bottle of chardonnay all afternoon...long story) Ugh. I said, oh screw...it I'm doing it and aimed the car towards Land O' Booze.

Then I thought....aaawwww...sheeeeeet! I'd have to post that at PsychCentral! Starting again tomorrow That actually stopped me from buying booze! See, you guys are very helpful friends! (although if I don't get some chocolate soon, I'm going to scream.....)

Yes, I think the Cat will throw away his pen and paper in shame after he sees our efforts! Starting again tomorrow

I actually got on amazon last night and drooled at the chocolate selection. I came this || close to ordering myself a box of Belgium chocolates. Then I poked myself in the hips.....boing boing....um....no good. My fingers went missing.

Oh crud. Wednesday. Dang it. OK....looking up frigging meetings now. Poop. I don't WANNA!!!!

Lincoln? I didn't think you were in Nebraska??? Starting again tomorrow

Isn't LaLaLaurie the bestest stern eyebrow giver?!! She said you were doing good and you sure are! Even the poetry works Starting again tomorrow

Keep at this Emmy. On itty bitty day at a time. And then anudder. Just like you've been doing.

Is she making you go to meetings in the Land of Lincoln? Man is she ever strict! Starting again tomorrow It would be worth it just to get some time in with the wunderkid N. Starting again tomorrow oh yeah his parents too Starting again tomorrow

AllDone is SO sweet. How about chocolate scratch and sniff stickers? Yes for real! In preparing to possibly move I've come across some strange stuff and the ol' sticker collection surfaced. The chocolate smells pretty good too but tastes wretched...darn twenty-five year old adhesives!! Starting again tomorrow

Well, darnit. I guess I was going by the date. Maybe you were going by the days? That gets too confusing for me. I can't count, remember? Just be thankful I didn't have N counting for you. He gets to 14 and then says, "16, 14, 16, 14, 16..." He gets stuck like a broken record Starting again tomorrow.

Anyway, I digress. In any event, congratulations!!! You are doing great Starting again tomorrow!

(((emmy)))

I know how hard it is. I have 3 days today. This is the first I've posted here but felt compelled to reply to you. I know now that even if I fall off, I can get back on!!!

I like this..can't remember who posted it, "p. s. it was the first drink that got me drunk, not the second 12 pack."

Oh no I hope I'm not hijacking! I just wanted to lend support, and thank you for showing me that I can always go back if I fall off!!

Emmy…
Let us know how you are doing, are you closing in on your 90 day chip?

Ray…
It is indeed the first drink that does it. Knowing that simple fact helped me a great deal.
And congratulations on 3 days, 3 days is a long tome to go without a drink. I know.
You know that you are doing the same thing some old fart with 20 years sober is doing?
You aren’t drinking today.
But remember, if just not drinking would fix us, detoxes and treatment centers would graduate nothing but success stories.
Working the steps with the aid of a sponsor is what did it for me.

On the road to the good stuff,
Richard S.
