When I was younger, it used to scare me. But when you're the only sober person, you hold authority over everyone else, as you're the only one able to think clearly. I like that kind of power for some reason. This is why I'm never going to drink.

This is probably not appropriate for this forum I'm sorry

Yeah, fairly common for us, I hear.

Although I'm the exact opposite. I loathe it. They get on my nerves. Ironically, I've been drinking more and more these days. But that's a topic for another thread.

Appropriate? I'm not sure. But if you mean you don't mind because of your own upbringing, then I would say that it is.

Um I don't think I posted this in the right forum....my parents aren't alcoholics...I just thought this was the forum for talking about alcohol I guess?
