I went through 13 years of abuse by mental health professionals. There is no available legal or board actions. I tried for several years.
I also sustained years of abuse as a child.

All I hear is forgive them and move on with your life. Ok so I stated I forgive each and everyone.
I still have horrible flashbacks and memories which brings it all back. I have done EMDR, meditation and mindfulness. I have done hypnotherapy etc. nothing stops above. I have sleep problems because of the things and have been sleep deprived for 10+ years. I have been to sleep disorder clinics.

I am asking “step by step guide” on how to forgive people so I can at the age of 70 have a peaceful life? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oh sweetheart, your story is rough. I too have suffered criminal abuse my entire life. I never reported anything. Please, you've gotta rise up & forget everything you've known & start Anew. U wrote you're 70. I don't want u to suffer another day. Please live in the present of today. U deserve to be happy today & do things u enjoy. U need decent sleep. I know lack of sleep causes alot of problems. Live in the present of today. What are some things u enjoy doing? U can't change what happened in your past & abuse put unto you, by others. Try to change your way of thinking, today. U need a good therapist to help u & give u tools. I never received therapy, myself. But I like to read psychology & psychotherapy books. I am changing my mindset with tips I read about. It depends on what applies to your suffering. I really want u to be happy! U said you've forgiven everyone, wipe your hands clean of it all. Be happy today. U need decent sleep so u can think clearly. The sleep issue could be causing u undue stress...

When you said "step by step" it brought a few things to mind:

There are a lot of hits when I google step-by-step how can i forgive others

A book that i have found helpful and takes a "phase by phase" approach is:

Amazon.com

If you are interested, it is available new and used on amazon, and at BookFinder.com: New & Used Books, Rare Books, Textbooks, Out of Print
