My dad is passed on & he did go to treatment & was sober for 20 years, I think. Oh, longer, I have to do math. But he used to drink alone, daily at a bar in the basement. He would watch tv there while drinking beer. It was so dysfunctional & really taught me how to become alcoholic, myself.
I'm sober for 5 years when it turns 2022. It's a huge milestone for me & I finally feel PROUD of myself. For once in my depressed existence. I did it & why can't I do more to feel better about myself! Why not, I deserve this. |
