I don't know if I have anorexia. I know I have really bad dysmorphic issues, my doctor told me that. I haven't seen in almost four months now though. I hate my body, and I haven't eaten in almost two months now. I eat about two Ritz crackers a day and drink a lot of tea. I also make myself throw up if I do eat an actual meal, and my family doesn't know any of this because I just tell them I've eaten while they're at work and stuff.
I haven't been diagnosed but I think that I might have a really bad problem. I don't want to go to a support group and have them telling me that I'm just being pathetic and nothing is wrong with me, but I don't want to go to my doctor and tell him what I've been doing. |

I really don't think that anyone would say that there isn't a problem. It sounds like you are really struggling at the moment and you deserve to get help. Talking to someone at first can be the hardest thing to do but there are people out there who can help you.

If all you have eaten in the last 2 months is a cracker a day & tea, you are going to (if you are not already) end up with anemia. The body requires the nutrients in food in order to function just like a car requires gas to run, our bodies require food. Without it.....everything in our body starts to fail. Blood tests by the MD can tell just how bad it is. I know when I was struggling, it took less than 2 months to end up in the state where I needed to have a central line & IV nutrition to survive.
Whether your problem is anorexia or what ever other name might be placed on it....you do have a serious problem that needs to be taken care of before you end up destroying your body & then look back & regret what you have done.
