Hi there,
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but this is where I was told to go... I don't think I have a problem but my friends and family do, you see I can lose weight quite easily and I like being skinny- which I'm sure most people will agree with. And when I start a diet or a exercise program I can lose the weight quickly but everyone around me says I'm too thin.. I look back at old photos and I can see that I'm pretty thin but I just want to be that way all the time even after being threatened with hospitalization... I've never gotten so thin that I can't walk or run and I can do everything I usually do I'm just a couple kgs lighter than most people my age..but that's not wrong! Is it?? ![]()

Yes, this is the place you should be, very happy you arrived. We often see ourselves different from how others see us. So if others see that you may have lost more weight then necessary and that your loss of weight would be considered unhealthy, then you might be too thin. Plus looking at pictures from the past is not very helpful and it may be sort of harmful to you, for the desire you have to stay the same, sort of living in the past will not allow you to age, is that what you are after, staying young? Have you ever been to a counselor to talk about your need for staying in the past, other than your family? It might benefit you to take that step, so that you can understand why you have this need to not allow changes in your body as you age. I wish you luck, and health for your future. |
