I am having a hard time finding motivation for recovery. My weight is stable, but i am still terrified of gaining weight. I even find myself wanting to be thinner again. I am over 18 but my mother keeps threatening to pull me out of university and get me commited to a treatment center if i dont "get my act together." But the more she tells me what to do, the more i dont want to do it. I just dont know what to do. Any advice?

Hope you can recover Winnie973 and anorexia is psychological as well as physical so counseling is very important to recovery. Good luck and get better soon.

Anorexia can be hard that way. It can make you not want to give it up. I know what that fear feels like. But it is possible to recover. I’ve been stable on that issue for many years. Recovery is worth it. Hang in there.

You'll do recovery when you can. You really can't force it ever. It just won't work. I've seen dozens of girls/women/men try to force themselves through recovery physically but their minds didn't follow.
I've regained my body weight two or three times over the past 35 years or so. I survived it but I don't think it's good for me to go up and then drop weight again.
