My name is Kalsey and I'm anorexic and suffering so much lately, eating is so difficult for me and I don't know how to push myself not to give up. I worry my parents and other loved ones so much and it is really difficult for me knowing they are in so much pain. Any advice?

I don't have any personal experience with this. So I can't offer anything based on my own experiences. However I noticed you had yet to receive replies to this post. So I thought I would write one. And my only suggestion here (which may just be too obvious) would be to look into the possibility of enrolling in an eating disorders program (assuming you're not already in one, of course.)

From my perspective, at least, trying to battle something such as an eating disorder alone must be excruciatingly difficult. You need the help of professionals. But perhaps just as important... you need to be with others who are fighting the same battle & who can support you. That's why there are so many weight-loss clinics out there & why there are 12-step programs for alcoholism, drug addiction, & other conditions. At least that's the way it seems to me. Perhaps other PC members will yet have other suggestions they can offer. Best wishes...
