I stumbled upon this gem while lurking around blogs. I didn't get to watch the last bit of it due to internet troubles, but I enjoyed the first part. Also... The password worked for me, perhaps you mistyped it. The only minor problems was at certain times, the video would start buffering. The guy with the pen and the table I found pretty interesting. I would have first asked if it were for sale (to which he said it's not) then I'd ask why I would want to try and get it from him, other than simply playing a mind game with him. Assuming I had some reason for desperately wanting it, I'll probably be competitive but also try to figure out what my actions will indicate to him, and perhaps use that to get the pen by fully controlling my facial expressions, body language, vocal tone, etc... . I wouldn't smirk and say, "I'll get it" because I probably cannot and if I try, I may screw myself over, so I'd play his game for a bit but eventually get bored if I make no progress.

Michael the Great, the movie mentioned how others probably met psychopaths but didn't realize it or didn't see their, "dark side". Have you ever met a psychopath that you figured out was trying to con you, and if so, what did you do?

I didn't mistype it. Turns out I just had to use a different browser. Firefox and the addons I'm using must've been preventing it from opening. Anyway, as Micheal knows by now, I gave my response to the video on another forum that he posted it on as well.

If that pen was something I want, I would take it, I wouldn't ask for it, wouldn't demand for it, just take it. If the opponent picks it up and says "you can't have it and you can't buy it off me" - I would probably appear very content and politely say "If it is something I want, then it is something I will get".

I had the same reaction. I'd not first ask him to give it or sell it to me, even if I knew I was being evaluated.
