Lol there should be a psychopath hotline for queries around here.

"Thank you for calling 1-800-Psychopath, how may I help you achieve wisdom about pointless psychiatric labels today?"

Thanks for this!

I'm diagnosed with ASPD but no shrink seems to want to administer the PCL-R since psychopathy isn't listed in the DSM. I guess one has to go to prison to be given that test.

Why would you want another test done if you're already diagnosed with ASPD?

I got "generalized anxiety disorder(s)" with antisocial traits, but that was by no means a full fledged diagnosis. That was just a short meeting with a shrink. What's funny is that I'm rarely anxious at all, I think they confuse it with me being thoroughly annoyed. Another lady said I also had "strong signs" of ASPD. Yet another short visit.
Thanks for this!

How will an ASPD diagnosis help you? Think about it.

I am actually still trying to understand what a psychopath is. Have you read psychopath free yet?

That's a first, GAD with ASPD traits? Interesting combo!

It wont in any way whatsoever, it'll only mess up any future medical encounter you have

Exactly. I'm suspected of lying pretty much all the time because of it.

Being diagnosed with ASPD does not necessarily mean you are a psychopath. In the United States, there's no diagnosis for "psychopath." Which country do you have in mind?

My husband was "diagnosed" By my T, but he would never go to a therapist himself
