It's not your fault you are the way you are. More than likely, you were created. I know a lot of you have probably done bad things. I know you don't have the ability to love like I do and cannot feel empathy. This doesn't mean you don't deserve to be loved. This doesn't mean you don't deserve to be cared about. My fiancé has aspd and he is beautiful. He doesn't abuse me. Yes, he can be mean sometimes and his lack of empathy is hard but I do not judge him for trust or blame him. I just want to give him all the love and nurturing he never. I don't try to change him more so aid him in guiding him down a less destructive path it's his decision in the end. He is controlling, but I am submissive so it works out. I know he doesn't love me the way I love him. I am his property, but he takes very good care of his property and is very protective of it. People with aspd you are still valid. You are not monsters you have a psychological disorder. If anyone needs someone to talk to pm me I'll be your friend

I wish more people had compassion for aspds it must be hard to make good decisions when the media and people have very judgmental and uneducated views

while i really appreciate this sentiment, i hope you're able to engage with your boyfriend on a level that prevents him from controlling every aspect of your life. there may come a time when you get cabin fever with the way he wants you to live, or if he becomes too specific and too controlling. you Must have a contingency plan for that.
