Today I went to a job interview. Yesterday I was totally fine and not nervous a bit. But then I couldn't sleep last night..I kept waking up every half hour. And then when I finally woke up and started getting ready for my interview I just started freaking out! I got sick, my stomach was killing me, i had this weird sever pain in my upper abdomen area and my back. It felt like a rubber band of acid was squeezing and burning me so much I couldn't breathe. I've had anxiety/panic attacks before but this one was really painful and came from no where! I also have OCD so it took me like 3 hours to get ready meanwhile I'm hurting and sick trying to get through stupid rituals. I'm sick of being like this I wish it would just magically go away.

I guess I just felt like complaining and this seemed like the place to do it lol...

Some people get pain so bad that they think they are having a heart attack. Panic/Anxiety attacks can often cause weird pains that can be confusing and scary.. I suppose if you're still hurting, and not panic-y at all anymore I would see your doctor. But if the pain went away after your nerves had calmed down, I think it's safe to assume it was caused by your anxiety... (I'm not a doctor though, just my thoughts).
sorry you had such a rough night and day.. I do hope your day gets better!

Thank goodness I haven't ever experienced such pain with my panic accacks I do have severe physical symptoms like uncontrollable shaking, sweating, rapic hart beat... that could last almost a whole day Until I seeked treatment and med's They do help These attacks come out of nowhere... but I have now learned what triggers them and how to treat the attacks The attacks were so severe.... I was exhausted and had to go to sleep, just to recover So.. in a way I now know when to take the happy pills. My DR and T are now on speed dial and have become quite good friends You are not alone.
