Hmmmm, I don't know. I don't trust anything that says "when used in combination with....."

I always tend to think it's a waste of money.

Might be wise to check out each ingredient, check for side effects and contraindications, on a site like rxlist.com.

For instance, Kava is a psychoactive herb, FDA has issued specific warnings about it, can interact with other meds, etc.

Phytoceuticals play an important part in many ppl's lives. From the listing of herbs they have, I find most of them are reasonable alternatives to pharmaceuticals. (I don't like SJW, for personal reasons.) My MD is one of the top doctors in South Florida and in the last several years has also become a homeopathic doctor.

From the other products they sell, I have tried many of those herbs, with my MD's approval. I don't know this company, though and that is the biggest drawback to me, for you now.

Go to a local health food store and talk to one of the clerks there... they know their products. Ask for help in selecting from companies who blend and balance their products and are consistent from one "batch" to the next. What are the older, trusted, companies?

Passion flower, valerian, these are great for calming, I know. I use guarana myself as an emergency herb. It's a non-processed caffeine-type plant... and if the average person hears that they still wouldn't have a clue as to what type of plant it is.

Remember, all our pharmaceuticals originally came from plants/herbs/flora etc...

If you are taking ANY other regular medicine, then you MUST MUST talk to your MD or his/her nurse for advice. They can interact.

Good luck with this.

I use herbal supplements but I've never heard of Clarocet. I agree with Sky's advice - if you are taking any other medicines please check with a Dr before starting on herbals.

Thanks you guys. Natural Alternatives
Since I'm talking with my doctor tomorrow I'll ask her about it, and maybe hold off if we decide to try a different med (I had a severe reaction to the lexapro I just tried a couple days ago).

Hi guys. Natural Alternatives

Well, I put off the natural route and saw a different doctor than the one that prescribed me the lexapro (for some reason she dropped the ball on me, never called me back after numerous phone calls, blah, blah, blah), anyway, I just filled a prescription for buspar. I'm gonna see how that goes...
