I haven't actually been diagnosed with anxiety but I'm pretty sure I get it sometimes. Especially when I'm faced with too many choices and can't decide what I want.

A couple of weeks ago me and my partner were at the mall in the food court. I thought I wanted a chicken salad but then I saw the Indian food. Then I saw the sushi but then I thought maybe I want some nachos. Then I thought maybe I'll just go with good old McD's but then all the shop owners were yelling out to me that they had end of day specials, and so this made my decision even more difficult as I do like a bargain.

At this point I was feeling rather flustered and stressed when an Asian woman at "Wok" said to me, "large platter for $5 instead of 8!". I put my hands to my face (Macaulay Culkin - Home Alone style) and said rather loudly to no one in particular, "I DON'T F**KING KNOW WHAT I WANT NOW". I started walking quickly towards the exit but my partner grabbed me by the arm and sat me down at a table and told me to breath lol.

I spaced out and just stared into the distance. My partner got me a cheeseburger from Burger King and told me to eat it. I ate it but I don't really remember eating it. I was so spaced out. I must have looked like a nutter and my poor man must have been a bit embarrassed.

Then we went home and laughed about how shocked and frightened the Asian lady looked when I swore in her general direction. And also at how retarded I must have looked.

The End!!
Thanks for this!

It sounds like you were just overwhelmed by all of the stuff going on...I know what you mean, I was in the mall yesterday and felt the same way. Do you feel panicky often?

Yeah, I panic too easily I think. I feel panicky every time I feel like I'm under pressure to make a quick decision. Which is like.. Everyday. I avoid eating just so I don't have to decide what to eat lol.

Last week me and my partner came up with a list of things I have to eat everyday and at what time coz I had lost so much weight, I was fainting in the shower. Having a list to follow really helps!

Yeah, organization can greatly reduce anxiety I'm glad making a list helps you. Have you seen a doctor about your anxiety?

You have to have a sense of humor or your mind would break completely. Once I was dx with OCD as well as the GAD things got a little better, only because I understand the process better. I still get very overwhelmed, but at least I understand that there's a reason for it.
