So, I'm seeing a therapist and the next step for me is to get myself out socially more. Im isolated, in my ways cause of disability, and just being private. In some ways im afraid of doing things alone, for my safety in part. What activities have you found yourself sucessful at starting, like I need ideas Ps if anyone out there would like to join and be a friend i'd welcome it, im lookin to communicate more

I love doing the library once or twice a week. I was thinking of volunteering for my local county humane society, they need "cat cuddlers" :-) I always like going to classes of various types at the recreation center or local community college; they have good exercise classes for those with physical disabilities too (swimming!). I belong to some online groups that interest me that also have local chapters and I have gotten to know people online and then in person, etc.
