I had a close call today. My SSI was approved and so I was trying to apply for the medical. I called the DHS office last week and they sent me a application, which I filled out and sent back. They sent me a letter that I received today that said I had to come in for a interview. OMG, I started to sweat and freak at just the thought. I called the worker on the phone and explained that I don't leave my house unless I go to the dr. and that is only if I'm heavily sedated. She didn't realize I was on SSI for social anxiety, borderline personality, and agoraphobia. She agreed that my husband could go in and take all my identification and our marriage license in and sign for me. THANK GOD. I was in tears on the phone with her afraid that I would have to go out.

So glad it worked out ok for you. You are fortunate that you aren't alone and that your husband can help you out with these things.

I do the same thing. Your mind just constantly goes on and on. I always tell myself to shut up. Lol. But it never works. If you ever wanna talk I'm usually up most of the night so you can pm me anytime. Hugs!
