Today is a bad day. I have been having such good days. But last night my leg started hurting. On the back of my thigh from my butt to right above my knee. It is a burning pain. I have all kinds of thoughts in my head about why it hurts. Like a blood clot I'm hoping it's my fibro making it hurt but the fear and panic I feel is so bad right now. And to make matters worse, i got water in my ears last night in the shower and now i'm dizzy. I'm so scrared

Do you have lower back pain- often lower back pain can cause a shooting pain. If it's not red and hurting in one specific area, then it's probably not a blood clot. If you're not better by tomorrow or one area swells then visit your doctor. Rest with your leg raised above your head. Do some slow deep breathing exercises - in through the nose slowly, hold for 5 seconds then exhale slowly through pursed lips. I hope you feel better.

Thanks y'all. I'm doing better today. My aunt (the one who's been a nurse for 20 ys.) checked it out for me and said it looks like I am having problems with my sciatica (?) nerve. Which if it feels the way she decsribed to me then yeah I can see that. Cause the leg pain like that will happen when I sit at my computer too long or in a car too long. And to answer lynn yes it starts in my lower back and hip/bum area and burns all the way to my foot. It's better today just my hip burns. But not as bad as the other day.
