I have never had a problem with anxiety my whole life!

But I do now!

A year ago, my son asked me to cook 3 days a week for his 3 kids and he at my house. He said that his first grade teacher wife had so much school work she was staying at school until 7.

Naturally, he gave me money for the food....he wanted huge dinners with all the amenities including heineken beer.

Well things proceeded.....
My friend, who is retired from the very school district that my daughter in law works, was in town for a reunion of teachers,.

We had lunch.

She proceeded to inform me that contrary to what my son said about his wife working late, my daughter in law was going to the bar 3 nights a week!!!

During a disagreement with my son in which he informed me of something negative about myselff, I said to him: wellk, let me inform you of something:
there isn't a tevcher in America who works till 7 at night.

He screamed at me that I was interferring with his family.

Now when I invite him for dinner he won't come, but simpllysday, I'll check with my wife...he uses her name.

Okay, so I'M THE BAD GUY????

hOW DO i GET OUTTA THIS ONE?

Might be good to take the high road and let things mellow out. Doesn't have to be an issue of who is supposedly right or wrong. Those right vs. wrong accusations in families can go on forever, to the benefit of no one.

I agree with CedarS it would be good to just let things mellow out.
