(((((((hugs)))))))))))))
Do you live alone? That can be scary? I cuddle with my kitty. That helps. Maybe a stuffed animal would help? Do you have any medication for anxiety? I take Xanax and that helps alot. Peace to you hon.

I have a really hard time going to sleep at night too. my anxiety kicks in, and my "tics" start up and I can't stand it. My legs shake, or I flex my leg muscles repeatedly because I can't stand holding still. I've found a long process of unwinding. I watch an hour of tv ALONE (after DH and kids go to bed) while crocheting. It's MY quiet time. Then I crawl into bed and read for about 10 minutes while my sleep-aid kicks in. That helps too. (I take amitriptyline for sleeping...it's not as heavy as ambien!)

I also used to have racing thoughts. My therapist taught me to write before bed. Make a list, so I don't hage racing thoughts about what needs to be done tomorrow.

Good luck!
