I have a problem with shaking. All of the time I shake. Its almost comforting. The shakes give me something else to think on. Which is nice. But why must I shake? its generally my hands. or if i'm fliping n crying, the whole deal: i'm shaking everything and - weird movements. but this is about the shaking. I do it in public n its hard to stop it. I just need it. I loathe it.

Since you say it is comforting, Are you able to control it somewhat, but you still let yourself shake because it is comforting?
My little cousin who may or may not be mildly autistic, shakes objects back and forth in his hand constantly. It is a comfort thing for him, or a nervous habit, or whatever you want to call it. I'm not suggesting you are autistic at all, of course -- just relating it to something in my life... What do you think? Did it start after medications or is this something you have always done? Just some thoughts......
