(Not sure if this should be here or in School and Study Issues, so feel free to move it...)

I'm used to feeling like I have too many things going on during term-time, not so much during the summer holidays. I got home from work today to find that my electricity and gas bills have been almost doubled (I'll be able to pay, but I'm worried my flatmate will struggle), I've got a bill for council tax despite the fact that I applied for a student exemption, the university still hasn't sent out my enrolment forms for next year, the student loan company also hasn't sent me my letter of award that I need to enrol for uni despite the fact that I sent off my application in June...

So many things to do and people to chase up, on top of a full time summer job and having to put together a presentation for the first week back about my final year project, I don't know where I'm going to find the time... It doesn't help that I'm not currently living in the flat where the issues with the bills and council tax are happening (I'm staying at home for the summer because it's closer to work), and the phone lines for the student loan company are closed by the time I get home from work...

Rio, it sounds like you have a full plate and then some. Remember to breath. Prioritize and make a todo list. But really, remember to breath.

Thanks, DePressMe. Feeling slightly better now that I've heard from the university and enrolment forms are apparently on the way, at least that's one thing crossed off the list for now...

Yes, getting all the circular stuff out of one's head and onto a piece of paper where one can "see" and deal with them helps me a lot. Glad Uni got to you at least about the enrolment forms.

Thanks Perna - you're right, it's helped a lot in the past when I've been having to meet coursework deadlines. Unfortunately the student loan company sent me a letter the other day saying they can't process my application until they get information about term dates from the university - no idea why the university hasn't told them already, it's not like they're massively different from last year... The deadline for sending the enrolment forms back is the 9th of September, and it's looking very unlikely I'll have the student loan form I need to send back with the enrolment forms by then... Apparently I can still be "provisionally enrolled" until I manage to send the student loan information to the university, but I'm still annoyed!

And you're home at the moment, and not near the university so you can't go down there and stand in somebody's light until they send the term date info
