Sometimes (and more lately) I get this weird internal shaking feeling, just like shivering when you are cold, but I'm not usually cold and it's not on the outside. It just feels like it's in my chest or my stomach or something deep inside if me, and I can't control it. Is this normal? Is it a symptom of anxiety? Because I just saw some stuff online about it, and apparently it is not normal.

I know what your talking about, I've felt the same thing and have always chalked it up to anxiety. But I have no confirmation that it is just anxiety and not something else. Just wanted you to know you aren't alone. Maybe we should both attempt to see a doctor about it

It happens to me every time I become very anxious, and is usually a precursor to a panic attack. Typically, for me, it starts as internal shaking, and then progresses to visibile shaking in my hands.

The shaking is most definitely a symptom of anxiety. I've found, for me, that if I can stop, and focus on taking deep breaths for a few minutes, the shaking will subside. It's basically a reaction to an excess of adrenaline as your body prepares for flight or fight.
