It's a nice title, yeah?

The reason I am here is to find some sort of support group for high-anxiety people.

Whenever a major "life event" occurs, anxiety likes to find it's way back to the surface. I have suffered from acute anxiety for longer than I can actually remember. But, that isn't the point here. Here's the cycle I seem to be stuck in:

1. I am too afraid to go out and do something...
2. I go out and find the something I want...
3. Fear creeps in and then I wonder if this "something" is
actually what I really want...
4. Fear takes another step forward and (almost) demands that I quit whatever it is I am doing and go back to my "safe place".
5. I end up back in my "safe place" but have nothing to show for it and feel even more off-track and even MORE of a failure.

It is no fun, to say the least. Is there anyone who finds themselves stuck in this cycle, or previously stuck in this cycle?

Oh, by the way, I am in my 20's. (Quarter-life crisis galore!)

Thank you!
