I'm so nervous.
Not nervous about my chances of getting the job mind you. My worries centre more around how I will be perceived. I'm a little weird. I tend to present as a nervous person, and I'm usually not confident in my outfit either. Really I'm just going to interviews so I can fulfill my obligations to myself and to give myself a chance of ever being employed again. Pray for Toilet. 10:30 am Friday the 1st of June (which is 5:30pm california time or 7:30pm Psych Central time). |

Good luck! Remember to make eye contact with your interviewer. It's better to give good answers than be in a designer outfit. Let us know how it goes!

When you go to your interview just remember that the person sitting across from you is just another person, a person who has insecurities and problems as well. It would be so much easier if we got to hear the thoughts of people, we would find out that when we are nervous, we are not alone. Actually you have been here at PC a while Illegal and you DO know more now about the inner thoughts and struggles of others. Remember that when you are with this other person because the truth is, MOST PEOPLE tend to be nervous and insecure and not as judgemental as you think. We tend to think other people are going to see us a weak or that they can tell we struggle somehow, but that isn't true, it is only how much we have come to know our own weaknesses and given those perceived weaknesses power ourselves. Other people don't know that. Illegal, you have to continue giving yourself opportunities and it is nice to see that you are trying once again to do just that. Whatever happens, you have friends here that care and are proud of you for trying. We all have been there in our own ways, your not alone. (((Hugs))) Open Eyes |

I know it's nerve-wracking...I think it's GREAT you are continuing to flex your interview muscles Also, if this helps at all...you are interviewing them, as well (can you run over to the dept store re: outfit and ask a personal shopper to help you a bit? I love doing that and there is no charge!) Keep us posted! |

Remember it's normal to be nervous about an interview, I think everybody is. Remember to make eye contact and smile at the interviewer. splitimage

Good luck to you tomarrow. And in addition to the suggestion to go to a department store and have them show you some outfits, do that, then go to thrift store or much cheaper store and try to get similair look if money is an issue. Let us know how it goes.
