Has anyone tried these for anxiety? I've read good things.

I tried them once. They seemed to help some, but they weren't what I needed. If you have a problem with performance anxiety though, they work wonders! A friend of mine takes them and they've helped her a ton!

Not myself no,
The only thing that works for me is small amounts of Clonazepam (Prescribed of course), stay away from all caffeine(Which you probably already know), and to set aside special times every day to close your eyes and concentrate only on relaxing your head, neck, and shoulder muscles. Maybe massage the muscles on the back of the neck where they meet the bottom of the skull, that one cured migraines that I had for years. I find when the mind is relaxed and calm, confidence slips in where worry has been. I wish you the best.....bumpy. |

I used to find beta blockers to be really useful. It was kind of like opening up a new world. My physical symptoms would go away. My heartrate (which used to be through the roof for social interactions) would be normal. I can't say that thoughts would always be the most useful things in the world. If I hadn't also had experience with CBT then the beta blockers would not have been that useful. Why "used to"? After awhile my response to them changed. Later in the day my energy would totally crash. For days following I'd be kinda extra glum. It just wasn't worth it.
