How can I stop shaking??
I'm trying to pace instead, but it's just avoiding the problem.
Help?

Maybe just ... stop trying to avoid it. If you're shaking, you're shaking - maybe looking at why you're shaking and what triggered it will help? Is there someone who can hug you? Pressure on the nervous system helps, sometimes. Or, try lying down?

I hate when I start shaking, there's pretty much nothing I can do to stop it once it starts. The other night I was shaking really bad, I couldn't even fall asleep because I was just moving too much. I usually have to just wait it out, it eventually always goes away. I try to do something calming when I start shaking, or something time consuming where I just stop thinking about it because I'm so focused on what I'm doing. Maybe drink tea, that always helps me a bit, and do arts and crafts or exercise/stretch(that helps me a lot actually) or anything you like that you really have to focus on, it can be a good distraction

Drinking water helped me. Taking a shower also helped. Trying to come up with something productive to do (cleaning, petting an animal) - something to get me out of my head & interrupting the cycle of worry.

Focusing on your breathing can do wonders. Just try to count slowly to five as you inhale and exhale. It's helped me a lot.

The other day I was shaking so bad I couldn't even hold a cup of coffee.
That has never happened to me before. I guess my anxiety is getting worse.
I will have to talk to my pdoc about it. I do have tardive dyskenisia, so that
might be why I was shaking so bad. I hope it doesn't happen again. It was kind of scary. I want to be in control, but sometimes I lose it.
