I'm supposed to see someone to help my SSI case but every time I make an appointment, something happens and I miss it. I try to make each one but either consciously or subconsciously I avoid it. This is hurting my case because I need current info on my condition to complete my case and get out of the unhealthy family situation I'm in.

How do I get past this? I'm also terrified that the psychiatrist won't sign my paperwork and I won't get my ssi...and I'll continue to be stuck and broke. Has anyone else gone through this?

And now because I missed my last appointment they won't let me see them again. I have to go through county mental health and I'm scared of that. There has to be something better I can do

Sorry for the double post but this is getting serious. My entire family is broke. Dad doesn't work, brother is on unemployment and my mom is disabled. I have to complete my ssi case or I'm afraid I'll be homeless like one of those bag ladies and I can't live that way. Don't know what to do.
