Hey, just wanted to know if this would be classified as OCD, it seems like it to me but I don't know. 1st: I used to do really stupid rituals, like every time I put a glass down on the table, I would pick it up/put it down/pick it up, etc. for some reason. And after I close a door I would always have a need to keep touching the doorknob. That has sort of phased out, but now I always wash my hands everytime I touch something I think has germs, or is dirty in some way (which is A LOT of things for me). 2nd: Do you know if having a phobia of abnormally large objects has a name?

it does sound as if it could be OCD. a friend of mine was troubled with similiar patterns. she was given a med by her doctor and it helped her.

i have a thing about finding my house keys hours before i need them.....and i really get freaked about it......as for as the phobia of abnormally large things, i don't know. i googled it but didn't find anything.....you might try WebMd....good luck.

It could be OCD, but I've read and heard that almost everyone has OC tendencies from time to time. The general rule is, if it's disrupting your life, it's a disorder.

Sorry, can't help you with the phobia name.
