I have GAD and SAD, and I have been noticing a trend, that in the evenings I feel much more comfortable even like going places, but during the daytime I have to make myself go out. Im not really depressed I just am not comfortable in social situations and Im much more comfortable in my safety zone. Has any one else noticed this, with anxiety issues, that they are worse during the day? I take xanax 1mg as needed up to twice a day but I only use them as needed so I find that once evening hits I am able to relax and even be somewhat social without it.

What about the dark that makes you feel more comfortable than the daytime/sunlight hours?

Im not sure what it is about the dark, I was wondering if this is a common occurence for people with anxiety issues.
