I'm going to Arizona tomorrow and I'm FREAKING OUT!! I'm terrified of airports and planes.
Big crowds of loud people. Talking on phones. Rushing around. Then the plane is full of strangers. And it's so small and cramped. And I can't get out. I'm terrified!!!

I don't know what to do! I'm going to scream and pass out all at once!

There are soooo many people! And it's so loud!! What do I do!!?

PLEASE I NEED HELP TONIGHT!

By tomorrow I will be laying dead in an airport. Because I'm going to die from a PANIC ATTACK!!

Does your parents know about your fear of flying?

Won't they respond to you with regards to this phobia?

I don't understand why this would happen. Your parents should have known.

What's going on with them?
Can't think any more my brain in its bucket getting tired.

If you can, reschedule for a late flight. Airports usually aren't too bad after 10pm. Wear headphones/earbuds and listen to relaxing, soothing music. Wear sunglasses. Find an interesting book for the flight.
Try ( I know it's hard ) to stop stressing and catastrophizing about something that hasn't happened yet.
Thanks for this!

No they don't know I'm afraid of the airport and of planes. They just think is a fear of heights. And they would never change their plans just because of my fear. They don't know anything. They don't understand me. And never will.
Same with my OCD, then don't understand why I have to have thinks a certain way and if it gets messed up I can't function.

I'm sorry, I didn't know you had a phobia. Is there any alternate means of getting to Arizona? If not, just do the best you can. I wish you luck

No. Flying is the only option. And no need to apologize. You helped bunches. I'm going to bring music to drowned out the people. It's not going to be a very pleasant flying nevertheless.

Thank you

When I get my ticket I say I need a wheel chair. Tell airport taxi same thing. Hey, can't get up and run in panic if I'm buckled in!! I plan these fabulous, exotic trips I know I'm too afraid to take, but set them up so I can't back out. Works every time!

And I have a great trip, once the wheels leave the Tarmac. Seldom have a panic attack, and never one of much account. I know--I'm playing games with myself. But I'm not spending my life bored at home being scared. This works for me.

For me, it's the lack of control I have over what happens. If it crashes I can't control that. And I don't like crowds of strangers. Or loud noises. And I never know who is doing to be on the plane. (My abuser ECT) and I don't like small spaces.... So that's just me

Even though you were forced to go, I really admire the fact you are doing it. Fortunately, or unfortunately, no one can force me so I'm totally grounded. No planes for me-of course that means no seeing the world for me either.

Take care
