I had a doctor's appointment last week (for a medication review) which I had been putting off for a while. I have had some bad experiences with NHS doctors in the past, including one saying I had a "brain tumour" doctors appointment (high prolactin) and another doctor refusing to give me meds for my anxiety and depression.

So it was with some trepidation I visited the doctor this time. I was surprised to find that he didn't want me to stop my meds but instead discussed a medication change. He was also helpful about a couple of physical issues I have been having.

So, there are good doctors out there, even in the UK doctors appointment

lol Fuzzy, I'm glad you got yourself a sensible dr! Not all drs are all that bad, I know, but a lot of them don't seem particularly competent or understanding, and I'm sure some of them are in the profession for the good money rather than from any urge to help people doctors appointment It must be some relief to find a dr who seems to treat you well!
