I got my medical records, leaving the military.

I had been seeing my primary doctor and a pdoc for my anxiety, but they never told me my diagnosis and I never asked.

I'm currently not on any meds for my anxiety(God knows why), initially I was on Ativan but it had no effect on me at all.

My diagnosis says: ANXIETY STATE, UNSPECIFIED

Is that the same as an anxiety disorder?

I'm confused.

You can have anxiety without having a diagnosed disorder... like if you just have anxiety related to a specific event, but prior to that event, you had no anxiety? that would be my guess...
