Lately it seems like my imagination is in overdrive. I know its more than likely not true. But when I'm out alone, be it shopping, driving or even at work, the smallest and stupidest things set me off. I keep feeling like I'm being followed. If I see a vehicle resembling any from former relationships, I freak and continually check to make sure they aren't trailing me. Small sounds are making me jump out of my seat. And even attempting or thinking about getting together with friends has me feeling like its not okay to go, I'm intruding on others. I've always had a rather sheltered life due to family being overprotective because of my medical conditions. So I keep wondering if my past is having a subconscious effect now that I'm trying to get my life back. Friday I plan on explaining alot of this stuff to my new T. Just on the verge of pulling my hair out til then

I am sorry you are experiencing these feelings too (((Confused))). Turning up the music and concentrating on it helps for awhile. But the creepy sensations always come back, especially if I'm out after dark. I hate it most when I feel that way at social outings with others I know. Why won't our minds allow us to believe there are some people who we can trust and relax around??
