Hi Friends;

Among many ailments I have is Anxiety Disorder it goes nicely w/my Bipolar, PTSD, Disassociation and constant Focal Seizure condition lol

Anyway I was supposed to go to Hospital Monday to the Emergency room because I've had 3 Grand Moul seizures in the past 3 weeks. I have gone there every day, but just can't make it into the building. I start having Panic attacks I disassociated into a fugue state on Monday. I'm not even sure why, I should be used to hospitals by now I've been to enough of them.

Anyway thanks for letting me vent that, and if u have any suggestions please share
Hugs from:

Try to have a loved one go with you. I hate going to hospitals and drs. and can't even fathom an appointment alone. I try to bring support with me and it helps. maybe this will help you too.

I agree with the above. Also, reward yourself afterwards! Go get an ice cream or something light-hearted. Just because we're not kids anymore doesn't mean we don't get bummed out by the doctor. Promise yourself you can't have whatever the reward is until you complete your task. Works for me anyway

Seizures are so serious I have been dealing with panic attacks that are more like epileptic seizures but even though horrible mine go away. I absolutely believe if you have someone that knows your having problems getting thru the emergency door have them talk to you about 5min before you arrive and tell them not to stop talking until you absolutely have to put the phone down. I WOULD ALMOST CALL IT RAMBLING ON this will get your mind off of thing about the thoughts of having the panic attack. It may be rude to talk on a cell while talking to a nurse in the emergency room about why your there TO BAD FOR THEM. I GUARENTEE YOU THIS WILL HELP TREMENDOUSLY. jULIE
