Hi,

My fist post in here was to explain that I struggle with social anxiety, which was making it hard to make posts and get to know people on here. Only a short time later, I have been able to start a few threads and respond to other peoples. I have also begun making friends, particularly through the chat.

So I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the support you all gave me. It meant a lot and encouraged me to try, with thus far fantastic results.

For anyone else struggling with the same problems, I can only say that this is a site full of friendly, caring people who don't judge. So it is safe to post, it really is and you will make friends in no time once you begin.

Thank again.

Milli

Thanks for the update, Millitoria! I'm glad these things have been working for you and that you've been able to overcome the initial anxiety. It's a big step for a lot of us. Took me a year to become active after I signed up. Now it's a big part of my recovery.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
